Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of operating while influence of earth magnetism is suppressed more.SOLUTION: A steering device 1 includes a steering shaft 11, an electric motor 21 which assist in operation of a steering component 2, a torque detection device 30 which generates steering torque as a first detection signal S1, and a compensation sensor 80 which generates a magnetic field at the steering shaft and its periphery as a second detection signal S2. The steering device 1 generates an output signal reduced in influence of the magnetic field at the steering shaft 11 and its periphery from the first detection signal S1 and second detection signal S2 according to a signal correction operational expression based upon correlation information between the first detection signal S1 and second detection signal S2. Then the steering device 1 drives the electric motor 21 upon the basis of the output signal.
