Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short length telescopic freezing unit integrated type superconducting bulk magnet of superior operability in which a magnetic flux is caught through magnetization to enable a magnetic field to be generated.SOLUTION: A vacuum insulation container storing a superconducting bulk body and a cooling part of a freezing unit for cooling the superconducting bulk body to a value less than superconducting temperature and a conduit for communicating a low temperature cooling part of the freezing unit with a normal temperature compressor part to cause freezing operation gas to flow are constituted by a conduit that is extensible and contractible. In the case that the superconducting bulk body is magnetized by an external magnetization electromagnet under this constitution, it is elongated to install the freezing unit at a location where a leak magnetic field of the magnetization electromagnet is low to assure a normal cooling operation of the freezing unit. After the magnetization electromagnet is demagnetized subsequent to the former magnetization, the conduit connecting the low temperature cooling part with the normal temperature compressor part is shrunk to enable it to change into a short length freezing unit integrated type superconducting bulk magnet.
