INCENSE STICK IGNITION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incense stick ignition device of a single number ignition type, which improves easiness of ignition by supplying sufficient oxygen, improves ignition reliability by eliminating variation in easiness of the ignition by an operator, and is highly safe by automatically and surely extinguishing fire when an incense stick is left alone for a certain length of time in the case that it is erroneously left alone after being ignited.SOLUTION: In the state that one incense stick is inserted to an incense stick insertion port for a prescribed depth and is left alone, the incense stick ignition device ignites a tip of the incense stick that is inserted and left alone, by performing an energizing operation to an electric heater. On a housing inner side of the incense stick insertion port, an incombustible inner side member forming a tunnel-like incense stick path from the incense stick insertion port to a part slightly before the electric heater is provided. Thus, spread of fire to an upper part of the incense stick caused by the incense stick in an ignited state being left alone in the incense insertion port and forgotten is extinguished by lack of oxygen inside the tunnel-like incense stick path of the incombustible inner side member.
