Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst capable of exhibiting a high purifying performance.SOLUTION: The provided catalyst includes: a substrate 3 having multiple inner wall planes 7 formed respectively by multiple through-holes 5 punching a first edge plane 3a through a second edge plane 3b; and multiple catalyst layers 9 formed respectively on the multiple inner wall planes 7. Each through-hole 5 has a central axis 5X and each catalyst layer 9 is zoned into a first region 9A extending inward from the first edge plane 3a over a specified distance, a second region 9B extending inward from the second edge plane 3b over a specified distance, and a third region 9C positioned between the first region 9A and the second region 9B. The catalyst layer 9 is formed in a state where the distance h1 from the central axis 5X of each through-hole 5 in the first region 9A of the catalyst layer 9 to the inner surface 9m of the catalyst layer 9 is shorter than the distance h3 from the central axis 5X of each through-hole 5 in the third region 9C of the catalyst layer 9 to the inner surface 9m of the catalyst layer 9 and longer than the distance h2 from the central axis 5X of each through-hole 5 in the second region 9B of the catalyst layer 9 to the inner surface 9m of the catalyst layer 9.
