INCENSE STICK IGNITION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incense stick ignition device which causes a tip of an incense stick to be brought into a secure contact with an electric heater so as to increase ignition reliability.SOLUTION: The device includes an electric heater 9 formed of a heating wire spirally wound in a cylinder coil shape, an inner diameter of the cylinder being larger than an outer diameter of the incense stick 12. The cylinder coil-shaped electric heater 9 is disposed so as to be able to receive an incense stick 12, which is inserted from an incense stick inserting hole, from the cylinder edge face hole into an inner-cylinder cavity. The incense stick 12 inserted from the incense stick inserting hole until it reaches the maximum insertable depth or a vicinity thereof is tilted about the inserting hole so that the outer peripheral surface of the edge portion of the incense stick is brought into contact with any of spiral heating wires which forms an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder coil-shaped electric heater 9.
