METHOD FOR REMOTELY MEASURING CRACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for remotely measuring a crack.SOLUTION: In a method and device for remotely measuring a crack, multiple laser spots having a known shape are projected beside a crack on a remote wall, and geometric calculation is used to obtain relative coordinates and actual distances between the respective laser spots on the wall, and the actual distances are taken as reference lengths of the crack. Then, images of the crack and the laser spots are simultaneously captured in a remote position by a camera, and an image recognition technique is used to calculate a crack-relevant parameter in the captured images by calculation. A user can acquire the crack parameter without needing to completely come close to the location of the crack for measuring at a short distance or to place a reference object in the vicinity of the crack, so that safety and convenience are provided.
