Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a packaging container to the capacity nearly corresponding to an actual capacity of a commodity on being opened.SOLUTION: A packaging container 1 consists of a front plate 2, a back plate 6, right and left side plates 3 and 5, an upper plate 7 and a bottom plate. In the back plate 3, a fold m extending from the upper end edge in the right and left directions at an interval corresponding to the depth of the packaging container 1 are formed, and tear lines continuing with the folds m and extending in the right and left directions in the side plates 3 and 5 and the front plate 2 are formed. In the upper end edge of the front plate 2, tear lines are formed. The down-grade tear lines extending from each of the right and left end edges of the tear lines in the upper end edge of the front plate 2 continue to tear lines in the right and left side plates 3 and 5 through tear lines extending vertically. After parts divided by the tear lines extending in the right and left directions in the right and left side plates 3 and 5 and the front plate 2, the oblique tear lines in the right and left side plates 3 and 5 and the tear lines in the upper end edge of the front plate 2 are tore and removed, the resultant body is folded along the fold m of the back plate 6 to form a packaging container with the height reduced.
