METHODS FOR PACKAGING OLIGONUCLEOTIDES INTO VIRUS-LIKE PARTICLES OF RNA BACTERIOPHAGES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of "reassembling" virus-like particles packaged with oligonucleotides whose efficiency to generate packaging products with extremely high purity is significantly improved.SOLUTION: Provided are methods for producing compositions comprising (i) a virus-like particle that is a virus-like particle of an RNA bacteriophage, and (ii) an oligonucleotide that is packaged into the virus-like particle. Provided are methods for producing nucleotide compositions comprising oligonucleotides suitable to be used in the methods. Provided are nucleotide compositions obtainable by the methods and uses thereof. Provided are compositions comprising said (i) virus-like particle of an RNA bacteriophage and said (ii) oligonucleotide that is packaged into the virus-like particle, obtainable by the methods and having a purity of at least 98%, most preferably of at least 99%.
