PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust-proof, anti-corrosion and waterproof electric connector in which a contact pin is prevented from being exposed to the outside air with simple configuration even in the non-joint state of male and female connectors, and also in the joint state, exposure to the outside air of the male and female contact pins can be prevented while holding reliable connection state of the male and female contact pins.SOLUTION: In an electric connector for bringing about electric conduction state by fitting a plug 11 in a receptacle 1, a contact housing 3 movable in the axial direction is arranged in the receptacle, and a receptacle contact pin 15 is located in the contact housing. A seal bush 6 formed of an elastic soft member for sealing the inlet of the contact housing during non-joint time and preventing exposure of the receptacle contact pin to the outside air is arranged at the tip of a seal pole 7 fixed to the receptacle end at one end.
