Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink for an on-vehicle LED lamp, which enables efficient heat dissipation by radiation.SOLUTION: A heat sink for an on-vehicle LED lamp comprises an LED element mounted on a substrate and a plate-like heat radiation surface integrally and continuously formed around this LED element. The heat sink for an on-vehicle LED lamp is formed of aluminum or aluminum alloy having a specific thermal conductivity λ. When the surface emissivity of the heat sink is determined to be a specific surface emissivity and the thickness of the heat sink is determined to be in a range from 0.8 to 6 mm, the total projection area of all the heat dissipation surfaces of this heat sink is determined to be in a range from 19,000 to 60,000 mm, and thereby, a thermal resistance value R is determined to be a small value of 4.0 (K/W). |
