PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magazine box capable of reliably preventing erroneous take-out of a disk from a magazine during a manual operation made by a user without interfering a smooth take-out operation to automatically take-out a disc from a tray in a disk device.SOLUTION: A magazine box 50 removably stores plural disk storing magazines used for a disk device which supplies a disk to each of plural disk drives. The magazine has a tray for storing disks and cases for storing trays so as to take out the trays. The magazine also includes a first lock mechanism for locking the tray to the case in an unlockable manner. The magazine box 50 has a second lock mechanism that locks plural magazine cases to the magazine box 50 in an unlockable manner. The second lock mechanism keeps the locked state at least when automatic tray take-out operation is made in the disk device.
