PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a zinc electrolytic pre-solution and/or a zinc electrolytic solution, in which the manganese can be removed from a zinc electrolytic solution and/or a zinc electrolytic pre-solution at least including zinc and manganese without requiring a large-sized device such as zinc electrolytic extraction device or without affecting the concentration of the zinc in the electrolytic pre-solution and/or the zinc electrolytic solution.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for treating a zinc electrolytic pre-solution and/or a zinc electrolytic solution in which hypochlorous acid is added to a zinc electrolytic solution and/or a zinc electrolytic pre-solution at least comprising zinc and manganese used for the electrolytic extraction of zinc so as to precipitate the manganese, thus the amount of the manganese included in the zinc electrolytic pre-solution and/or the zinc electrolytic solution to which the hypochlorous acid is added is reduced.
