Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon carbide ceramic joined body even having a large or complicated-shape, excellent in bonding strength, heat resistance, and morphological stability, by applying local heating in the atmosphere, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A silicon carbide ceramic joined body 1 according to an embodiment comprising: joined members 2, 3 composed of a plurality of silicon carbide ceramics; and a joint layer which is placed between the joined members, connects the joined members. The joint layer is composed of a brazing material including: silicon dioxide; aluminum oxide; and at least one component selected from a group consisting of magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, lithium oxide, boron oxide, zirconium oxide, yttrium oxide, iron oxide, and chrome oxide. The brazing material is irradiated with a laser beam to be heated.
