PICKING FORKLIFT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking forklift that prevents a portion of an operator's body from being caught between a cargo gear and an operation board.SOLUTION: A picking forklift 1 includes: a vehicle body 2; a mast 3 set up in the vehicle body; a driver's cab 4 with one end guided and supported by the mast, and lifted; a cargo gear 5 provided at the other end side of the driver's cab; and an operation board 8 of the cargo gear. The cargo gear has: a cargo handling fork 5a that is at least lifted, moved to right and left, and turned; and a submast 5b for supporting the cargo handling fork. The submast is removably supported by a frame rail provided at the floor and ceiling of the driver's cab. The operation board is arranged as foot switches 8a-8d operated by the leg of an operator 7 at the position close to the side of one end of the floor 4a of the driver's cab where the driver's cab is supported. An upstanding object including the operation board is prevented from being disposed in the other end side provided with the cargo gear of the driver's cab. As a result of this arrangement, a portion of an operator's body is prevented from being caught between the cargo gear and the operation board.
