LIQUID JET APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet apparatus capable of efficiently suppressing deflection of a medium while suppressing a variation in suction force in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A liquid jet apparatus includes: a liquid jet unit 21 for jetting an ink onto a sheet S to be conveyed in a conveyance direction F; a suction mechanism for sucking the sheet S; a first medium supporting unit 25 for supporting the sheet S at a position opposing the liquid jet unit 21 while having two or more suction holes 28a for exerting a suction force of the suction mechanism on the sheet S arranged therein in a width direction X; and a second medium supporting unit 26 for supporting the sheet S on the downstream side in a conveyance direction F of the first medium supporting unit 25 while having suction holes 30a and 30b for exerting the suction force of the suction mechanism on the sheet S provided to be paired at its positions respectively corresponding to edges in the width direction X of the sheet S. A separation distance between the paired suction holes 30a and 30b is longer than a separation distance between the adjacent suction holes 28a in the width direction X.
