SHEET METAL PROCESSING METHOD AND SHEET METAL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which influence of difference or variation in material properties of material to be processed makes it difficult to perform highly accurate processing, when processing sheet metal.SOLUTION: In a sheet metal processing process composed of a material manufacturing process and a material molding process, when punching is performed at the material manufacturing process, a curve representing the relation between a load and displacement of a punch is obtained, and the curve of the load and the displacement of the punch is compared with curves of loads and displacement of the punch in a material property database for materials, beforehand collected by analysis and experiments. Material properties of the material are thus identified, and at a next process, that is, the material molding process such as bending, press processing, or the like, on the basis of the identified material properties, molding conditions for molding the material are determined using a molding condition database beforehand collected by analysis and experiments, and sheet metal processing of the material is performed by the material molding process.
