Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container storing a coating for oxide film formation which can stabilize the characteristics of a coating for a long period, not only during the roll coating step and but after the step, by suppressing the moisture absorption rate in the coating used in oxide film formation, in roll coating a strip steel plate and is recyclable.SOLUTION: A storage container 1 storing a coating for oxide film formation is provided a container body 2 storing a coating S for oxide film formation and having a charge inlet 3 for charging the coating S for oxide film formation and a check valve 4 connected to the charge inlet 3. In the container body 2, zeolite Z is included, and the coating S for oxide film formation comprises a glycol ether type solvent having a boiling point of 140-220°C and a water solubility of 20 mass% or smaller and one or more of metal oxide precursors, inorganic oxide precursors and chelate compounds.
