TRAVEL CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control device for a vehicle capable of suppressing deterioration in fuel consumption while suppressing deterioration in drivability in an inertial travel.SOLUTION: When an engine oil temperature Toil is low, a neutral inertial travel is made to have a deceleration. When the engine oil temperature Toil is high, on the other hand, a cylinder-stop inertial travel is made to have small deceleration. Consequently, variation in deceleration caused by variation in engine oil temperature Toil becomes small and a stable travel feeling can be thereby obtained during the inertial travel. Further, the neutral inertial travel is not always made so as to eliminate variation in deceleration, so deterioration in fuel consumption and deterioration in drivability resulting from that the neutral inertial travel is always made are prevented. Consequently, the deterioration in fuel consumption can be suppressed while the deterioration in drivability during the inertial travel is suppressed.
