SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR FUEL INJECTION VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a fuel injection valve that can easily restrict relative rotation between the fuel injection valve and an elastic support member around a center axis of the fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: At an intermediate part of a fuel injection valve I, a pair of contact surfaces 6 are formed which face each other across a plane C containing a center axis A and a center axis B of a coupler 14, an elastic support member S is provided with a base plate 15 installed at a second load bearing part 5b, an elastic piece 16 which extends from the base plate 15 to be elastically pressed against a fuel supply cap D, and energizes the fuel injection valve I toward an engine E with reaction force thereof, and a pair of rotation stop pieces 17 which extend from the base plate 15 to abut against the contact surfaces 6, and restrict rotation of the fuel injection valve I around the center axis A, and at least one of both the contact surfaces 6 is provided with a positioning groove 21 that the corresponding rotation stop piece 17 elastically engages.
