PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panty stocking having both transparency and running hardness.SOLUTION: The panty stocking is knitted by using as a first knitting yarn a covering yarn 51, which has been prepared by winding a nylon yarn 71 on a polyurethane elastic yarn 61 or a core yarn, and by using as a second knitting yarn a double yarn 52, which has been prepared by being platting-stitched with a polyurethane elastic yarn 62 at the loop-knitting of a nylon yarn 72. In a knitting fabric, the polyurethane elastic yarn 61 and the polyurethane elastic yarn 62 are heat-sealed, and the nylon yarn 72 is exposed in a flat state.
