Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel uneven stretchable tricot knitted fabric which is improved in wear feeling by minimizing parts in close contact with a body while having high stretchability so as to fit the body, and which has air layers formed between the body and the fabric and in the fabric itself, thereby enabling a heat insulation effect to be obtained.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a stretchable tricot knitted fabric is knitted by using non-stretchable knitting yarns and stretchable knitting yarns. The non-stretchable knitting yarns are divided into groups each comprising required number thereof. The delivery lengths of the non-stretchable knitting yarns in the groups adjacent to each other are alternately increased and decreased in a repeated manner, thereby providing protrusions F in a checkered pattern on a surface. The protrusions F prevent the surface from coming into close contact with a body V of a wearer, and air layers A1 and A2 are formed within the protrusions F and between the body V and the fabric, thereby providing a heat insulation effect.
