COATED PAPER FOR PRINTING AND PRINTED MATTER MANUFACTURING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing intended for industrial inkjet printers having, while having printing aptitudes suitable for printers of the prior art for offset printing or the like, printing aptitudes accommodating printing speeds of industrial inkjet printers.SOLUTION: The coated paper for printing intended for industrial inkjet printers is a coated paper for printing intended for industrial inkjet printers obtained by configuring, on at least one surface of a base paper, a coating layer including pigments and a binder as main components and having the following characteristics: at least one type among the pigments within the coating layer is a heavy calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter confined to a range of 0.1 μm or above and 0.28 μm or below; the content of the heavy calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter of 0.1 μm or above and 0.28 μm or below within the coating layer with respect to 100 parts.mass of all pigments within the coating layer is at least 60 parts.mass; the coating layer includes a water-soluble organic compound liquid at normal temperature and having a boiling point of 110°C or above.
