Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a driver from awkwardness by properly differentiating use of neutral coasting and use of cylinder halt coasting.SOLUTION: When cylinder halt coasting is initiated with an engine rotating speed domain set to a domain (cylinder half coasting initiation enabling Ne domain) higher than an N coasting initiation enabling Ne domain, awkwardness a driver perceives can be diminished. When neutral coasting is initiated with the engine rotating speed domain set to a domain (N coasting initiation enabling Ne domain) lower than the cylinder halt coasting initiation enabling Ne domain, the driver's awkwardness can be diminished. Namely, since the engine rotating speed domains in which the two coasting modes of neutral coasting and cylinder halt coasting, which contribute to improvement of a sense of gliding and fuel economy, can be initiated are designated in consideration of a difference in an implementing situation between the two coasting modes, the driver's awkwardness can be diminished. |
