Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular travel control device capable of balancing between improvement in a vehicle fuel economy and suppression of a brake pad wear.SOLUTION: A travel control device is capable of: selecting from among a neutral inertia travel, a cylinder-stop inertia travel and an engine-brake travel, which are different in magnitude of deceleration by an engine brake, depending on engine brake force required for travelling, thus enabling the cylinder-stop inertia travel when a magnitude of the deceleration requires engine brake force that is a middle level between the neutral inertia travel and engine-brake travel, making it possible to improve a fuel economy because of reduced deceleration compared to the conventional case of performing the engine brake travel whenever engine brake is required; and further, making it possible to suppress wear on a brake pad because the deceleration is increased in the cylinder-stop inertia travel compared to the neutral inertia travel, compared to the case of performing the neutral inertia travel when the middle level of brake force is required.
