Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent feeder, stably holding a self-expanding stent for a vessel on a balloon of a catheter, increasing a diameter of the stent following the expansion of the balloon, and accurately implanting the stent in a desired position in the vessel.SOLUTION: A stent feeder includes: a catheter provided with a balloon to be supplied with an expansion medium to expand at the tip side; a self-expanding stent for a vessel mounted in diameter-reduced state on the balloon and formed of biodegradable polymer; and a protective sheath for holding the stent for a vessel mounted on the balloon in the diameter-reduced state and operated to move for the catheter. The tip part side of the protective sheath covering the stent for a vessel is provided with an easily split part which splits the tip part side of the protective sheath by expansion force of the balloon to release holding of the stent for a vessel when the stent for a vessel is enlarged in diameter by the expansion of the balloon.
