PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk having a frame on its top plate which prevent any inclination or backlash of the desk even when a heavy load is attached to the frame.SOLUTION: A desk 1 is provided with a top board 2, top board legs 3 for supporting the top board 2, and a modesty panel 4 for partitioning a space below the top board 2. The desk 1 is also provided with a frame 5 arranged above the top board 2, and frame support legs 7 which are arranged in contact with the modesty panel 4 at positions separated from each other in a width direction of the top board 2, and the lower ends of which are brought into contact with a ground. The desk 1 is configured to support side frames 6 of the frame 5 with the frame support legs 7 which are paired in the width direction, and to connect these frame support legs 7 to the modesty panel 4 and the top board legs 3.
