ELECTRICAL CABLE CONNECTING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fixing, etc. of an electrical cable drawn out from one device to another device without detaching a back side plate of the other device when fixing, etc. of the electrical cable to the other device are performed.SOLUTION: An electrical cable connecting device comprises: an opening portion 30 which is provided to face a board-side connector 61b of a device main body 2; a lid body 40 for blocking the opening portion 30; and a regulating member 41 for regulating movement of the electrical cable 50 in cooperation with the lid body 40. The lid body 40 is configured to be secured to the opening portion 30 by a fixing portion while a cable-side connector 51a is connected to the board-side connector 61b. The fixing portion has an engaging portion 42 for engaging a side edge portion of the opening portion provided at the one side edge portion of the lid body 40, and a fixing portion 45 provided at the other side edge portion opposing to the one side edge portion. When the lid body 40 is secured to the opening portion 30, the electrical cable 50 is led out outwards from an edge portion nearer to the fixing portion 45 than the engaging portion 42 of the lid body 40.
