Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet fitting device and sheet fitting method capable of appropriately fitting sheets onto a fitting object.SOLUTION: The sheet fitting device 1 comprises: holding means 3 holding sheet ST from one surface ST1 of the sheet ST; transportation means 4 transporting the sheet ST held by the holding means 3 to a fitting position; fitting means 6 fitting a fitting hole ST3 on the sheet ST transported by the transportation means 4 onto a projecting part BT2 of a fitting object BT; assistant means 7 which assists transportation of sheet ST by contacting the other surface ST2 of the sheet ST when the sheet ST is transported to the fitting position and assists fitting of the sheet ST onto the projecting part BT2 by contacting the one surface ST1 of the sheet ST when the sheet ST is fitted onto the projecting part BT2 of the fitting object BT.
