Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder which cleans a blade of a wiper to which an ink adheres, prevents clogging of a nozzle of an ink jet head and mixture of ink colors, and enables high image quality recording.SOLUTION: An ink jet recorder 1 according to the invention includes: wiping means 30 which slides a blade 34 on a nozzle surface 24 of an ink jet head 20 to wipe off an ink; and cleaning means 40 which flows and pours a cleaning fluid to the blade 34 to conduct cleaning.
