FORWARD OSMOSIS WATER MAKING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forward osmosis water making system which suppresses contamination of produced plain water by solutes at a minimum level and eliminates the need of large-scale distillators and solute dissolving apparatuses.SOLUTION: A forward osmosis water making system is for obtaining plain water from raw water by a forward osmosis separation method and comprises a forward osmosis apparatus moving water from the side of raw water to the side of an absorption liquid by utilizing a difference of osmotic pressures between raw water and the absorption liquid in contact through a semi-permeable membrane, a membrane separation apparatus connected to the forward osmosis apparatus through a diluted absorption liquid line and filtrating the absorption liquid to separate into solutes and plain water through a membrane filter and a high-concentration absorption liquid line provided with a pump for returning the absorption liquid with a concentration of solutes increased by the membrane separation apparatus to the forward osmosis apparatus. In the high-concentration absorption liquid line, a first switching device applying external stimuli dissociating molecular assembly is arranged, and the absorption liquid is dissolved, as a solute, with a surfactant which undergoes self organization to form molecular assembly larger than the size of fine pores of the membrane filter in the membrane separation apparatus.
