Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a skyrmion of a micro element for skyrmion drive with low power consumption.SOLUTION: A current is applied to a two-dimensional material 10, in which a skyrmion is induced by applying a magnetic field, having the thickness equal to or less than 100 nm and formed from FeGe which is a spiral magnetic body, thereby driving the skyrmion. When a current is caused to flow in a skyrmion-induced material, an effective magnetic field is added from the skyrmion to a passing conduction electron, a novel electromagnetic phenomenon such as a topological Hall effect appears, a spinning direction of the conduction electron is changed, and in accordance with the change in the spinning direction of the conduction electron, spinning of the skyrmion is also changed. Therefore, the skyrmion is rotated or moved in a current direction (spin transfer torque effects) and the skyrmion in the material can be driven. |
