PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device for transferring a high-voltage current in an automobile field.SOLUTION: A first connection element 4 has: at least one housing layout structure equipped with at least one first connection element 18 having a first insulation housing portion 20 and electrically connected to an inner conductor 16 of a cable 14; and a shield layout structure 28 connected to a shield of the cable 14. The shield layout structure 28 is connected to the shield housing portion 12 by a shield portion 32. A second connection element 6 has at least one second housing layout structure 41 having a second insulation housing portion 42, the second insulation hosing portion 42 being equipped with at least one second contact element 46 connected to a current line element. The shield portion 32 is designed as a shield sleeve 34 having a spring ring 36.
