Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge configured to prevent a toner discharge screw from being locked even if the toner discharge screw is rotated backward, and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: A toner cartridge (22) includes: a toner agitation part (206); a toner conveyance part (205) having a toner outlet (204) formed at a downstream end in a toner conveyance direction; a toner storage unit (201) having a partition plate (203) disposed between the toner agitation part (206) and the toner conveyance part (205); a toner agitation paddle (207); and a toner discharge screw (202) arranged so as to be rotated forward/backward. The partition plate (203) is formed in parallel to the toner discharge screw (202) vertically upward from the bottom of the toner storage unit (201). The height of the partition plate (203) becomes lower from the downstream end in the toner conveyance direction to an upstream end in the toner conveyance direction.
