Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float bath capable of acquiring a glass plate having excellent quality.SOLUTION: A float bath includes a molten tin tank 20 for storing molten tin M, and allows molten glass to flow on the molten tin M in the molten tin tank 20 to form it into a band plate shape. The molten tin tank 20 includes a casing 22 opened upward and a bottom brick 24 installed in the casing 22. The bottom brick 24 at room temperature is tapered on each side face 24c-24f so that a horizontal section becomes smaller gradually from the undersurface 24a to the top surface 24b.
