Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of promoting water absorption into rice, suppressing unevenness of cooked rice, and preventing occurrence of trouble such as sticky feeling or burnt deposit in doneness of cooked rice.SOLUTION: In a water absorption and heating process in which rice and water are heated to rise to a set temperature from a normal temperature, driving input means (320) of a speed controlling part (32) makes a drive input value for driving a motor (21) during a period in which the temperature rises to a first temperature from the normal temperature, larger than a drive input value for driving the motor (21) during a period in which the temperature rises to the set temperature from the first temperature.
