Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of stopping useless transmission of a call signal to a locator.SOLUTION: A calling device 2 is provided to an item and uses a near field radio communication protocol to transmit a call signal for calling a locator 3 to the locator 3 which outputs a notification sound. The calling device 2 periodically waits for a reception of a response signal from the locator 3 using one slot when continuously transmitting the call signal to the locator 3 using plural slots. The calling device 2 stops continuous transmission of the call signal using the response signal received from the locator 3 as a trigger.
