PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve operation evaluation of a vehicle interval.SOLUTION: A vehicle interval management device 10 includes: a storage unit 11; a selection unit 12; an acquisition unit 13; and a determination unit 14. The storage unit 11 stores a data table in which velocity of a vehicle and templates of different sizes are associated with one another. The selection unit 12 selects a template of a size corresponding to velocity of a vehicle during driving on the basis of the data table stored in the storage unit 11. The acquisition unit 13 acquires an image of a number plate of the vehicle during travel forward of the vehicle during driving. The determination unit 14 determines propriety of a vehicle interval between the vehicles during driving and the vehicle during travel forward of the vehicle during driving on the basis of the template selected by the selection unit 12 and the image of the number plate acquired by the acquisition unit 13.
