Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a force feedback device capable of faithfully reproducing a tactile sense that a part of the body of a user is actually pushed by something.SOLUTION: A force feedback device is configured of: a base member 28 having a contact surface 27 to be brought into contact with the finger and palm of a user; a wire member 21 constituted of magnetostrictive materials disposed along the contact surface 27; a plurality of coil members 22 constituted of conductive materials wound around the wire member 21; and a control circuit for, when inputting a command signal from an external device, energizing the coil member 22. Then, a pair of coil members 22 arranged at both sides of an object portion OP are included in the plurality of coil members 22, and the pair of coil members 22 are energized in different current directions such that the wire member 21 is displaced toward the object portion OP by the control circuit. Therefore, the wire member 21 is formed into a convex shape at the object portion OP so that the contact surface 27 can be pushed up toward a direction of the finger or palm of the user.
