PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that, in comparing images having no character code, enables comparison equivalent to that in comparing files having a character code.SOLUTION: Character recognition means of an image processing device performs character recognition for a first image, and performs character recognition for a second image related to the first image, comparison means compares a first character recognition result obtained by the character recognition means for the first image with a second character recognition result obtained by the character recognition means for the second image, and output means outputs a comparison result obtained by the comparison means.
