END STRUCTURE OF ELASTIC PAVEMENT BODY AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end structure of an elastic pavement body which is simply constructed to hardly cause the separation of the end of the elastic pavement body, and to provide a method for constructing the same.SOLUTION: The end structure of an elastic pavement body 1 is such that a reinforcing material 4 is embedded in the elastic pavement body 1 located adjacent to a pavement body 2 and laid on a base 3, at its end 1a adjacent to the pavement body 2, for preventing the warping. The reinforcing material 4 of which the elastic modulus is higher than that of the elastic pavement body 1 and which has a through-hole 5 vertically passing therethrough is fixed to the base 3 with a fixing member 7. An elastic paving material 1A constituting the elastic pavement body 1 is filled into the through-hole 5, and then the reinforcing material 4 is embedded in the elastic pavement body 1. Strength of adhesion between the elastic paving material 1A and the reinforcing material 4 is higher than strength of adhesion between the elastic reinforcing material 1A and the base 3.
