Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin having excellent color tone, transparency, heat resistance, antiweatherability and mechanical strength, and having a low residual low molecular weight component.SOLUTION: Provided is a polycarbonate resin, which at least comprises a structural unit derived from dihydroxy compound having a moiety represented by the following formula (1), and satisfies all of the following conditions (A) to (D). (A) YI of a certain injection molded plate body is 1.80 or less. (B) The difference in YI of an injection molded plate body of different conditions is 0.30 or less. (C) The content of monohydroxy compound is 700 ppm by weight or less. (D) The increased amount of monohydroxy compound content after heating is 700 ppm by weight or less.
