Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article in which while antireflection performance of a porous siliceous film is maintained, an antifouling property is raised, favorable appearance can be maintained for a long period, and a production method of the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an article that includes a multilayer film that comprises a porous siliceous film, and an outermost surface layer that is disposed in contact with the porous siliceous film on a transparent substrate. The article is characterized in that a refraction index at 550 nm of a wave length of the multilayer film is at most 1.428, a beginning water contact angle of the outermost surface layer is at least 80°, and a water contact angle after light of 300-800 nm of a wave length is exposed by 650 W/mof irradiance for 1,000 hours is at most 76°.
