Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plier capable of surely fixing, gripping or enlarging, even if a gripping object is a hose clip comprising an elastically-deformable wire-like circular ring.SOLUTION: In a plier 10 formed by crossing a pair of arms 20, 20' having jaw parts 16, 16' on each tip respectively, and used for gripping an object (knob part of a hose clip) between the jaw parts 16, 16' by allowing an operator to grip the pair of arms 20, 20' (more concretely, grip parts 18, 18'), when the pair of arms 20, 20' is gripped, the jaw parts 16, 16' of the pair of arms 20, 20' become mutually parallel, and a notched groove is formed on the facing side of the jaw parts 16, 16' of the pair of arms 20, 20'.
