Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film removal method for efficiently removing a coating film on a surface of a structure, and a laser beam application device.SOLUTION: This invention provides a coating film removal method for removing a coating film on a surface 20 of a structure, the method including preliminary treatment to form slits 23 on the coating film, and peeling treatment to apply a laser beam 30 to the coating film in an area including the slits and peel at least part of the coating film.
