Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small article rest which can allow easy insertion and extraction of a small article such as bar soap and which has an excellent drain.SOLUTION: A small article rest comprises a tray 1, and a stand portion 2 formed in the tray 1. The tray 1 includes a plurality of ridges 10 for supporting the bottom face of a small article such as bar soap, and grooves 11 arranged between the ridges 10. Of the ridges 10, at least one ridge 10 supports the stand portion 2, and the stand portion 2 has a clearance between the lower end thereof and the bottom face of the grooves 11.
