Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage facility capable of prolonging the life of a secondary battery used with the power storage facility.SOLUTION: In a power storage facility, a secondary battery is used within a specific charge/discharge region, a range extending from a charging rate less than a full charge for a prescribed amount to that more than a complete discharge for a prescribed amount. In a first time zone (nighttime), the secondary battery is charged up to a stipulated charging rate Cx, a predetermined value within the specific charge/discharge region. In a second time zone (daytime), the secondary battery is discharged in first and second peak cut time zones R1 and R2 while the second battery is charged in an intermediate time zone V between the first and second peak cut time zones R1 and R2, within the specific charge/discharge region. By doing such a charge/discharge control, a secondary battery charge/discharge cycle is achieved within the specific charge/discharge region, thereby prolonging the life of the secondary battery.
