Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission device that achieves two-way communication between a master circuit and a slave circuit connected via a transformer in an insulated and separated manner.SOLUTION: A signal transmission device comprises: a master circuit connected with primary sides of first and second transformers; and a slave circuit connected with secondary sides of the first and second transformers. The master circuit uses one of first and second transmission/reception circuits for transmission and the other for reception according to a control signal, and transmits a pulse signal that changes a pulse interval after a certain time detecting a rise and a fall of the control signal. In addition, the slave circuit detects a change in the pulse interval of a signal detected via third and fourth transmission/reception circuits, and uses one of the third and fourth transmission/reception circuits for reception and the other for transmission according to the detected result.
