Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit and a lighting fixture in which the degree of freedom in the arrangement of electric wires, electrically functional components, etc. is increased.SOLUTION: A fitting member 21 is constituted by: a bottom part 211 formed in a long rectangular shape and on one surface of which an LED board 22 is mounted; and side parts 212c and 212d protruding in the direction crossing the bottom part 211 on the side opposite to the LED board 22 with respect to the bottom part 211 from both sides in the width direction of the bottom part 211. A housing case 242 comprises: a side part 242h opposed to the side part 212c of the fitting member 21; and a side part 242d opposed to the side part 212d of the fitting member 21. The housing case 242 is arranged so that the distance between the side part 212d and the side part 242d is longer than the distance between the side part 212c and the side part 242h. In addition, the housing case 242 is arranged in the space surrounded by the bottom part 211 and the side parts 212c and 212d of the fitting member 21.
