PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device for identifying a first area in front of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A driving support device 1 includes: a camera device 10 for detecting an obstacle and a traffic line by photographing the front of a vehicle; a radar device 20 for detecting an obstacle by a millimeter wave radar; an area identification part 31 for identifying a first area by using image processing data inputted from the camera device 10, obstacle data inputted from the radar device 20, and a driving state acquisition part 80; an approach property determination part 33 for determining whether the vehicle can approach the first area according to whether the first area satisfies an approach property determination condition; a control and alarm part 35 which does not perform travel control of the vehicle or alarm a driver, when it is determined that the vehicle can approach the first area; and a driving state acquisition part 80 for acquiring driving state information showing a vehicle driving state.
