Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that is small, has a wide-band VSWR characteristic, is adaptable to a plurality of communication systems, achieves impedance matching and has adjustable resonance frequency, and to provided a portable wireless device.SOLUTION: A composite antenna includes: a first antenna element B whose one end side is connected to a feeding point S and whose the other end side is an open end; and a second antenna element A which is arranged in proximity to the first antenna element B at a predetermined interval and opposed to it, and whose one end side is connected to the feeding point S and whose the other end side is an open end, and which has a length longer than that of the first antenna element B. Although the composite antenna operates in a series resonance mode by a resonance current flowing in the first antenna element B, and a parallel resonance mode by a resonance current flowing in the first antenna element B and the second antenna element A, the second antenna element A does not operate in the series resonance mode. A frequency of the first resonance by the series resonance mode is higher than a frequency of the second resonance. |
